J. Scott Golan
Partner and CEO
Having joined the company in March of 2005, Scott leads Property Advisors’ consulting services for community redevelopment, helping to create sustainable, walkable neighborhoods. Through the use of tools that include market forecasts, residential fit analysis, financial advisory, tax incentives (specializing in New Markets Tax Credits and Tax Increment Financing), public/private partnerships and real estate valuation, J. Scott and his team are able to help clients and partners achieve success.
Prior to joining Property Advisors, J. Scott was the Tax Managing Partner of the Cincinnati and Dayton offices of Deloitte & Touche, the largest Big 4 accounting, tax and consulting firm in southwestern Ohio. He has over twenty-three years experience in public accounting, specializing in real estate tax consulting and structuring of real estate transactions.
Scott graduated with honors from Miami University (B.S.) and Xavier University (M.B.A.), with degrees in accounting. He is a member of the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Roundtable and serves as a Trustee with the Real Estate Executive Advisory Council (REEAC) of the College of Business Administration, and the Catholic Inner City School Education Fund. He is on the board of trustees of the Boys Clubs and Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati and is also a member of the Urban Land Institute.
In addition to leading client teams, Richard serves as CFO of Property Advisors, overseeing the financial and operational functions of the company.
Prior to joining Property Advisors, Richard was a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Consulting Strategy and Operations practice in Cincinnati. He has over 13 years of consulting and industry experience, specializing in corporate strategy, marketing strategy, real estate and operational improvement. He has focused on serving clients in the retail, consumer products, manufacturing and life sciences industries. Prior to Deloitte Consulting, Richard worked in brand management for Procter & Gamble and in Ernst & Young’s management consulting group.
Richard received his Masters of Business Administration with High Distinction from The University of Michigan. He is also a graduate of Miami University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Richard serves on the Planning Commission of the City of Madeira and is active with Horizon Community Church. He is a member of Corenet Global, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Michael leads Property Advisors in residential housing and marketplace analysis. Regionally known for his private sector housing counseling, Dinn and his team are an integral part of Property Advisors’ expansive private-public communities practice. His work to date ranges from site-specific housing market studies for regional builders and their lenders to new market exploration that targets new entrant opportunities or local builder acquisitions. With a new inspiration in urban living, Michael has consulted on the market position or design of a dozen high-profile condominium projects in greater Cincinnati that have or will deliver over 1,500 units, as well as three other large mixed-use planned communities that promise some 4,000 new urban rental or for-sale homes.
As a Counselor of Real Estate, Michael is one of a select 1,000 real estate advisors invited to their prestigious national network. He is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute. Prior to Property Advisors, Michael was President of Dinn Focused Marketing, a seven-year consulting practice that gave detailed housing market research to a wide regional Clientele. He has over twenty years in residential land development, housing design and construction, real estate finance and frontline sales and marketing.
Michael graduated in the top third of his class from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis and served as a shipboard Naval Officer for eight years. He also received an MBA in finance from the University of Washington in Seattle.
